"This morning, Karl VanHeyst from Closer Look Home Inspections inspected the house we will be closing on next week. We were 100% satisfied with the service he provided. As first-time home buyers, we had many questions, and Karl took the time to answer all of them. He went well beyond the call of duty, making sure to not only bring our attention to even the most minor issues with the house, but to also inform us about the best way to repair these issues or maintain current conditions in order to prevent future unnecessary costs. He provided us with energy saving tips, identified positive characteristics of the house, and explained the function of things and how they work. He was extremely thorough, and he seemed to have all the equipment necessary (e.g., a moisture meter, gas detector) to understand aspects of our house that are not visible to the naked eye.
